Sacred Heart is offering new and improved online and LIVE summer school classes in English for Sacred Heart and Non-Sacred Heart students in the Quebec youth sector (females AND males from any public AND private schools).
- Classes: 3 hours a day, online LIVE synchronous courses
- Exams: In-person at Sacred Heart (exams are only available in English)
- Language: All courses and exams are taught and taken in English
- Eligibility: No Certificate of Eligibility required for enrollment
- Tax Receipts: NOT issued for these classes

COURSES OFFERED SUMMER 2025
Course dates:
Class Dates: Monday, July 21st - Friday, August 1st (12:30PM - 3:30PM)
Exam Date: Monday, August 4th at 9AM - 12PM in person at Sacred Heart
Cost: $500 for Non Sacred Heart Students | $450 for Sacred Heart students
Registration deadline: Monday June 30th, 2025. Students will receive log in information in advance.
Late registration by Wednesday July 16th, 2025. *Late registration will only receive log in information the Friday before the course begins.
Unlike other summer bridge programs, this math course covers all required units, topics, and homework questions to prepare students for the final Ministry of Quebec Evaluation. The course requires an approximate 60 hour commitment, 30 hours in class and 30 hours of review. Students are expected to review and complete practice work outside of class time to assure mastery. All materials are provided.
*Please note: Students are responsible for ensuring their current schools will recognize the results obtained over the Summer as prerequisite for advanced Math courses at their school.
Who should take this class:
- Students who successfully completed CST this year and would like to BRIDGE to Sec. V Math, Science Option, next year. Important: Letter of recommendation required (from teacher or advisor; Sacred Heart students are exempt from this letter).
- Students who wish to RETAKE the course to improve their grade.
- Sec. III (Grade 9) students who wish to PREVIEW the course for Sec. IV (in the case there will be no exam and the course is not graded).

Exam Date: Friday, August 8th at 9AM - 12PM

The complete Sec. IV EST Science course includes all the units, topics and homework questions to prepare students taking Physics and Chemistry Sec. V courses. This course will provide the pre-requisite course and credits needed to pursue the sciences in Sec. V. The final grade comes from a combination of homework and the final exam, which is internal, and not created by the Ministry. The course requires an approximate 60 hour commitment, 27 hours in class and 33 hours of review. Students are expected to review and complete practice work outside of class time to assure mastery. All materials are provided.
Who should take this class:

The Sec. IV History of Quebec and Canada course includes all the units, topics and homework questions to prepare students for the final Ministry of Quebec Evaluation. The course requires an approximate 60 hour commitment, 27 hours in class and 33 hours of review. Students are expected to review and complete practice work outside of class time to assure mastery. All materials are provided.
Who should take this class:
- Students who are MISSING this course.
- Students who wish to RETAKE the course to improve their grade.
- Sec. III (Grade 9) students as a PREVIEW for Sec. IV (in the case there will be no exam and the course is not graded).

- Courses are delivered via Google Classroom and Google Meet.
- All lectures are live and synchronous, they are not recorded, this means students are engaging in real-time sessions led by the classroom teacher. This includes live teaching, interactive discussions, breakout rooms and the opportunity to ask questions during the sessions.
- The course instructor provides live guidance, corrects assessments, and offers real-time feedback during the course.
- Content, worksheets, and practice work are all available on the Google Classroom, no materials need to be purchased.
- Yes, students are expected to review and complete worksheets outside of the class time.
- The teacher will provide time during the three hour class for specific questions, including breakout rooms for more one-on-one questions.
- Weekly virtual office hours and additional support are available upon request.
- Final exams are required for the courses if students are taking the courses for credit.
- All ministry exams are taken in person at Sacred Heart, at a date and time set by the ministry.
- All internal exams are taken in person at Sacred Heart at a date and time set by the school within the ministry summer school session time.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of purchase of the course will be reimbursed in full
- Cancellations made after 48 hours of purchase and before the first day of the course will be reimbursed less a $150 administrative fee
- Refunds WILL NOT be issued once your course has started.

- After registration, students will receive an email to the student email provided at registration with further information.
- Registrations made by June 30th, 2025, will receive the email by July 7th, 2025.
- Late registrations, made between July 1st and July 16th 2025 will receive login information by Friday before their class begins.
- Email will include instructions to activate their Sacred Heart email address and how to access the Google classroom where the class takes place.
- All classes are conducted LIVE, attendance is essential to ensure students don’t miss any important material.
- Students are required to have access to the internet with the use of a personal device (such as an iPad, laptop, or computer).
- Students need access to a printer to print worksheets and evaluations written at home.
- The school reserves the right to cancel any course if there is insufficient enrollment.
- Final results will be communicated to the student’s school via email.
